For the San Francisco Decorator Showcase, an interior designer dream, we transformed a white box into a sophisticated kid’s room. Taking cues from the wilderness deep within the desert, the safari-inspired bedroom was designed with the young explorer in mind— a place for climbing, hanging, pure adventure. Featuring colorful, whimsical elements: ombre wallpaper, tree-fort bunk beds, ant hill play space to crawl inside, carved gym rings, light-projecting elephant mask. As a result, the room has distinct sections making it as functional as it is playful. Resources: Kyle Bunting, Calico Wallpaper, Carolina Irving, Zak and Fox, NIDO, Lightform.
