This functional contemporary bathroom design is a spacious spa-like sanctuary. The original master bath was a series of boxes, with poor circulation and limited lighting. The goal was to open up the space and transform it into a practical, luxurious oasis where daylight and fresh air could flood the area. To create a sense of calm, we used natural materials and a fresh color palette. We added teak wood flooring alongside the tub, and pulled it up onto the wall, next to the shower. To complement the teak, we used durable porcelain tile from Artisitc Tile on the floor, and Afyon Grey marble from Artistic Tile, on the shower walls and tub frame. Designed for him-and-her, the bathroom features back-to-back vanities, complete with dressing room area. A bathroom remodel never felt so good!
